Thomas J. Drechsler, Esq.

Tom is a lifelong resident of Baltimore who received his Juris Doctor and Masters of Business Administration from the University of Baltimore in 1988. While in law school, Tom was selected to serve on the University of Baltimore Law Review and Law Forum publications. After earning his degrees, he began his practice of law with the Law Firm of Miles & Stockbridge where he concentrated in general civil litigation, including cases involving real estate issues. In 1994, Tom formed his own law firm where he enlarged his practice areas to engage in transactional work involving real estate law, corporate law and general business services. Tom opened his first title company in 1999 and has been in the title services industry ever since.

Tom frequently lectures to real estate agents and banking professionals on topics related to the real estate and banking industry. He is approved by the State of Maryland to provide for-credit continuing education to real estate agents licensed in Maryland. He is also approved by the State of Maryland to provide for-credit continuing education to loan officers through the Maryland Mortgage Bankers Association.

In addition to membership in the Maryland State Bar Association and the Baltimore County Bar Association, he is a member of, and active in, various realtor associations including the Maryland Association of Realtors, Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors, Women’s Council of Realtors and the Real Estate Million Dollar Association. Tom also serves on the Board of Directors of the Maryland Mortgage Bankers Association.

For the past 13 years, Tom has served on the Board of Directors of Slavie Federal Savings Bank, and is the bank’s general counsel.

Tom, his wife and three children, live in Phoenix, Maryland. He serves as President of the local neighborhood association and is actively involved in overseeing many neighborhood activities and events. One of his greatest passions is being a dad and he actively serves as his children’s “preferred” driver to and from their various athletic and other extracurricular pursuits.
