A Virginia licensed attorney for almost two decades, Matt has worked in the residential transactional and title industry his entire career and has successfully closed thousands of real estate transactions. He enjoys the educational and relational aspects of his work the most – teaching REALTORS® as a state-certified educator in a classroom environment and having developed many long-standing friendships with agents, lenders and clients. Matt joined Sage Title Group in July 2021 to launch their Richmond office. Matt now manages five Sage offices in Central Virginia. Prior to Sage, he worked with NFTS out of the Richmond office serving as the Vice President of Business Development and Counsel where he acted as liaison between NFTS, brokerage firms and lenders across the country. After completing law school, he cut his teeth in the real estate and settlement business at MBH Settlement Group where he worked for over a decade in progressive roles as counsel, closing attorney and manager in Manassas and Warrenton. Matt graduated from James Madison University with a B.S. in Public Administration and received a J.D. from George Mason University School of Law. Matt practices law through his law office, Midtown Law Group. In his precious spare time, you might find him watching a Nationals game, playing golf or fishing. It’s been a good day if he is able watch the latest Dateline. A Virginia boy, Matt grew up in Staunton, and he, his wife and three young sons are happy to call Richmond their home.
